The 2021 Audi A8 comes standard with the 3.0 TFSI Quattro Tiptronic powertrain. This powertrain features a 3.0L 6-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. A 4.0 TFSI V8 is optional, boosting power to an impressive 453 horsepower, while dropping the car's 0-60 time down to a claimed 4.5 seconds. In addition, a new hybrid version is also available, pairing the 6-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total of 443 horsepower. The S8 boosts the horsepower to 563 with 590 ft-lb of torque. All engines are paired with an 8-speed transmission while Quattro all-wheel drive makes handling and responsiveness impressive in all weather conditions. The A8 also features four selectable driving modes -- Dynamic, Comfort, Individual and Automatic -- all of which help provide the driver with the best possible ride and handling.
The A8 has a luxurious interior that matches the best of both classic executive car cabins with some of the fine, almost custom-look details of bespoke ultra-luxury cars. Interior trims include matte-brushed aluminum, walnut natural wood with black inlays, Nappa leather trim, Valetta leather seats and heated 18-way power front seats. Other notable comfort and convenience features include four-zone climate control, steering wheel shift paddles, power sunshades, soft-closing doors, LED headlights and taillights and a rear view camera.
